UP Yoddha are ready to take on the Haryana Steelers for the first time in VIVO ProKabaddi 2018. The match will be an excellent opportunity for us to bring a smile on the faces of ours fans. The action begins at 8 pm at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex, Delhi.

A Quick Look

Multiple injuries to our key players, including captain Rishank Devadiga, has added to our woes this season but the boys are still determined as ever to claim full points. Our defense has been one of the strongest in the league and we hope to maintain that. Our opponents, the Steelers, have not been at the best of their form as well and we would like to capitalize on their errors.

Their Defenders

Sunil, the right corner of the Steelers has been the backbone of their defense, performing consistently in every match. Our raiders, especially Shrikant who is always eager to go deep in the mat in his daring raids, will have to be careful while stealing those points there. All-rounder Kuldeep Singh, too, has contributed to the team’s defense well.

Steelers captain Monu Goyat had made the most noise with his bid by the team. Though he did not have the best of starts this season, he is coming with consecutive Super 10s in his kitty and will be their trump card. Vikas Khandola is the other consistent performer of the side and our defensive core of Nitesh, Narender, Sachin and Jeeva will have to be careful when these two come out to raid.
