U.P. Yoddhas is a kabaddi franchise in Pro Kabaddi, a professional men's Kabbadi league in India.U.P. Yoddhas is owned by the GMR Group and is among the 12 participating teams in the PKL.
The Yoddhas have the distinction of being the team to qualify for the PKL playoffs in every season since their debut in 2017. Pardeep Narwal, the record holder for most raid points in Pro Kabaddi history (1,348), will lead U.P. Yoddhas' challenge for a first league title alongside captain Nitesh Kumar at PKL 9.
Nitesh, who has been with the Yoddhas since the team's inception, was the first PKL player to score 100 tackle points in a single campaign (2018-19). His career tackle points record (279) makes him one of the most successful defenders in the competition's history. #YoddhasHum #SaansRokSeenaThok
