Though our start to the home leg wasn’t ideal, the Yoddha spirit remains unperturbed as we head towards our second home-match of ProKabaddi 2018 at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida – against Bengaluru Bulls. Victory will not be easy, given the form the Bulls are having but the Yoddha are determined to give in their all to bounce back to winning form.
A quick look
With both Rishank and Jeeva back in action, our Yoddha are rejuvenated and ready to take on anything that comes their way. Both our raiding and defending side is strengthened to face the in-form Bulls, who have had a commendable run so far. We were handed a defeat by the Tamil Thalaivas last night for sure, but that does nothing but increase our hunger for triumph.
Their Defenders
So far in the league, the Bulls’ defense has been disappointing. The defenders have failed to match up to the momentum created by their raiders while, our raiders have been exceptional in their field. It will be an interesting battle to observe, between our trio of raiders – Rishank, Shrikant and Prashanth – and the Bulls’ defense.
Their Raiders
The nucleus of Bengaluru Bulls is their raiders, who have put up an unmatchable show on the mat this season. Pawan Sehrawat is in scintillating form, having scored 20 points in two matches and maintaining an impeccable consistency and Kashiling Adake and Ashish Sangwan have supported him well. Jeeva, Nitesh and all our defenders will have a tough job at hand.
Story so far
Winning four of their five matches, the Bulls are sitting at the second position of the Zone B points table while we are at the fourth position with three victories from eight matches.
