Having their confidence replenished with a victory over Puneri Paltan, UP Yoddha are now ready for their second challenge – Dabang Delhi K.C. – in the Inter Zone Challenge Week. The intriguing match will take place at the Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna on Sunday.

A quick look

Despite impressive performances, our initial start wasn’t an ideal representation in the points table. However, we put our faith on our talent and bounced back to register a tie and a victory. Our Yoddha are determined to maintain their victorious form and beating Dabang Delhi K.C. in their prime at the moment is exactly what we need to keep the momentum going.

Their Defenders

The Dabang Delhi defenders have played as a unit throughout this season. However, one particular defender who poses a threat to our raiders will be ‘The Hawk’ Ravinder Pahal. His strong ankle-holds have taken down one too many heroes and our raiders have surely prepared a winning recipe against this player. Another name to be cautious about will be that of captain Joginder Narwal but our raiders – especially Rishank, Prashanth and Shrikanth – know very well how to steal those crucial points.

While Naveen Kumar, Pawan Kadian have impressed for Dabang Delhi K.C. from time to time, their pillar in the raiding contingent has been Chandran Ranjit who consistently became their scoring machine. Playing three matches this season, he gathered 21 raid points. But against the Yoddha, he will have to go past the robust holds of Nitesh Kumar, the mastermind of Narender and the determined Sagar Krishna. We will surely make each of their raids a task to remember!

Story so far

With two victories in four matches, Dabang Delhi K.C. stand third in the Zone A points table while winning two of our six matches, we are in the fourth position of Zone B points table.
