Last night, Indian Football Team took one big stride towards their dreams of playing the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as they ended their joint-qualifier match against Qatar in a goalless draw.

In absence of stalwart Sunil Chhetri, the team restricted the AFC Asian Cup champions from scoring. What might seem a mere draw in plain sight will provide the Blue Tigers not only with their first points of the tournament but also a morale victory, since they become the first Asian team to remain undefeated against Qatar this year.

After a last-moment defeat to Oman in the previous fixture, this draw gave Indian football fans their moment of joy and Twitter was filled with wishes for the team.
