He started playing Kho Kho in 9th grade. Getting selected for the school Kho Kho team is his
favourite Kho Kho memory. He has participated in the Senior State Championship in 2017. He
has won a Gold in Inter University, 2018 and a Silver Medal in Inter University, 2019. He is also a
Gold Medalist in the State Championship, 2020-21.
His father is a farmer and a shopkeeper, while his mother is a housewife. He is currently
pursuing a Master's degree in physical education. He is also working as a Kho Kho instructor.
Despite coming from a low-income household, Rajat's parents never discouraged him from
pursuing his aspirations on the contrary, they always encouraged him. His father is also a
former athlete who competed at the state level. He also likes playing Kabaddi and swimming.
